Soori's transition from comedian to action hero has been remarkably successful. His latest film, "Garudan," recently surpassed 50 crores in global box office collections. Impressively, his debut as a lead in Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai' also achieved a similar milestone, grossing around 50 crores worldwide.

"Garudan," a rural action drama, features Soori alongside Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, Sshivada, Roshni Haripriyan, Mime Gopi, and others. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, the film is slated for a digital premiere on three major streaming platforms.
"Garudan" is set to stream on Amazon Prime, Simply South and Tentkotta from July 3rd. The story follows Sokkan, a trusted confidante of two childhood friends, Aadhi and Karuna, whose loyalty is changed by a dynamic between betrayal and survival. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography handled by Arthur A. Wilson, and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.
