‘Vettuvam’ Gearing Up for July Release: Film Crew’s Action-Packed Plan!

Pa. Ranjith, one of Tamil cinema’s leading directors, has always captivated audiences with his unique storylines. In that vein, his upcoming directorial venture ‘Vettuvam’ has generated massive expectations.

While the primary filming of the movie has already been completed, minor scenes and additional sequences—known as patchwork—are currently being filmed. This final stage of shooting is set to be fully wrapped up within a few days. With this, the film is ready to move into the next phase of technical development (Post-production).

The collaboration of three talented actors from Tamil cinema in this film has doubled the anticipation: Arya, who previously left a mark with Pa. Ranjith in ‘Sarpatta Parambarai,’ joins hands with him again; ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh, the hero of Pa. Ranjith’s debut film, returns in a powerful role; and Ashok Selvan, known for choosing unique scripts, enters Ranjith’s gangster world for the first time.

‘Vettuvam’ belongs to the hardcore action-gangster drama genre. Much like Pa. Ranjith’s previous gangster films, one can expect a gripping story set against the backdrop of politics and the lives of people at the grassroots level of society.

The film crew is planning to release the movie in theaters this coming July. It is expected that releasing in July, just after the summer holidays, will be a major boost for the film’s box office collections.
