Dulquer Salmaan Says ‘I Am Game’ Will Be His Most Stylish Film Yet

Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming action thriller I Am Game is rapidly emerging as one of the most anticipated Malayalam films among audiences and trade circles alike. Mounted on a massive scale, the film has already completed shooting across more than 100 locations in South India and is currently progressing through post-production.

Speaking about the project, Dulquer Salmaan revealed that I Am Game will be the most stylish film of his career so far. The actor shared that both his character and the overall world of the film were designed with a highly modern and sleek visual approach.

According to Dulquer, director Nahas Hidayath was keen on presenting him in a completely fresh and stylish avatar, which eventually became one of the film’s major highlights. The actor also noted that many of his recent films featured him in vintage-inspired looks, whereas I Am Game will showcase him in an entirely different mass-action transformation.

Directed by Nahas Hidayath, who previously delivered the blockbuster RDX, the film is being planned as a grand-scale pan-Indian action thriller. Slated for a worldwide theatrical release in August 2026, the project is said to be the biggest film in Dulquer Salmaan’s career till date and one of the largest Malayalam productions ever mounted.

The movie is jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films. The screenplay has been penned by Shahabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. Interestingly, I Am Game also marks the next major production venture from Wayfarer Films after the blockbuster success of Lokah.

The film boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in important roles.

On the technical front, music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the high-octane action episodes are choreographed by the popular stunt masters Anbariv, raising expectations for the film’s action sequences.

The first-look and second-look posters released earlier had already created strong buzz on social media, with fans praising Dulquer’s intense makeover and the film’s stylish presentation.

Positioned as Dulquer Salmaan’s landmark 40th film, I Am Game will release as a pan-Indian entertainer in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
