Certificate of No Caste, No Religion: Parthiban’s Bold Initiative

In a video recently released on his YouTube channel, actor-director Parthiban announced that he is actively pursuing an official government certificate stating “No Caste, No Religion.”

“Mentally, I have always been firm in the belief that I have no caste or religion,” he stated. He mentioned that a small ‘ordeal’ he faced recently strengthened his resolve to make this stance official. He is currently engaged in the legal procedures required to obtain this certificate and expressed confidence that a Government Order (GO) will be issued soon, followed by the certificate itself.

In Tamil Nadu, a few individuals (such as Sneha from Vellore) have already obtained such certificates after long legal battles. However, a prominent artist announcing such a decision in the public eye is being viewed as a significant move toward social change.
