The teaser of Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchithiram' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon has landed without warning and it impresses immediately with its style and sophistication making it one of the year's best so far. The striking feature of this 1 minute 15 second breathtaker is the rythm that is set for the action cuts punctuated by the sound effects and background music that is nothing short of a symphony.
Vikram looks his uber cool best as the interpol cop whose variety of firearms do the talking except in the end of the teaser he mouths the "P" word in Tamil to stop the narrating villain as well as tell the audience not to get carried away with the visual splendour as there is much much more to come.
'Dhruva Natchathiram' obviously takes the Gautham Menon template cop story to the international level with an ensemble cast that gives the men and women equal share in the action. Famililar faces that catch the eye are Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, Divyadarshini, R. Parthiban, Vamsi Krishna and GVM himself. Harris Jayaraj, Manoj Paramahansa and Praveen Antony have pillared together to create their director's vision to picture perfection.
On the whole this captivating 'Dhruva Natchithram' teaser not only sells the film big time but also helps erase Vikram's 'Saamy Square' fiasco.
