As we have reported earlier, Prabhu Deva, Ramya Nambeesan and Sanath have acted in director Karthik Subbaraj's next film whose shooting has been wrapped up recently.
On Friday, the film was officially launched and the title and a lot more surprising details about the film were revealed.
The film has been titled as 'Mercury' and Prabhu Deva has played a negative role for the first time in his career. Moreover the film will have no dialogues at all. This is an experiment tried by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in his 1987 film 'Pushpaka Vimana' aka 'Pesum Padam'. After three decades, Karthik Subbaraj has taken up this challenge of giving a silent film with popular actors.
Santhosh Narayanan is the music director of the film while Vivek Harshan is working as the Editor. Tirru is the cinematographer as reported by us earlier.
'Mercury' is being produced by Bench Talkies banner of Karthik Subbaraj.
