Mathew Thomas is a young and popular actor in the Malayalam film industry. He is set to enter Kollywood with Thalapathy Vijay's slick actioner 'Leo', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Mathew was earlier spotted amid the cast & crew in the Kashmir schedule.

Meanwhile, Mathew Thomas is now gearing up for the release of his new Malayalam film, 'Neymar'. While talking at a promotional event for Neymar, he opened up about Leo to the media. Mathew said that he will be seen in a clean shave look and he has sister named 'Iyal' in the upcoming movie.

The actor also stated that he was not fluent in Tamil but Lokesh Kanagaraj handled it in a cool manner. When asked about Thalapathy Vijay, he said, "Adipoli." Going by Mathew's words, he is most likely playing Vijay's son in Leo. Trisha is expected to play Vijay's wife and they also have a daughter in the film.

Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Menon, Myskkin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy, Janani, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Babu Antony and many others. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring music for Leo with DOP by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. The movie will hit the screens worldwide on October 19.
