Peddi, starring Ram Charan in the lead role, is rapidly building into one of the biggest pan-India releases of the year. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the rural action-sports drama has already created tremendous excitement with its posters, songs, and character glimpses.
Now, with the release countdown officially underway, the makers have announced that the much-awaited theatrical trailer of Peddi will be unveiled on May 18.
So far, the team has revealed only two contrasting shades of Ram Charan’s character, keeping the film’s core storyline tightly under wraps. The trailer is now expected to offer audiences a deeper look into the plot, emotional backdrop, and the film’s powerful ensemble cast. Naturally, anticipation surrounding the trailer has already reached sky-high levels.
Alongside the announcement, the makers also released a striking new poster featuring Ram Charan in an authentic 1960s rural avatar, walking along railway tracks. The poster has drawn strong attention for its period detailing, rustic atmosphere, and visual authenticity. From costumes to set design, the film appears to be recreating the era with remarkable precision.
Ram Charan’s rugged transformation has especially become a major talking point among fans. The actor reportedly underwent a significant physical makeover for the role, which spans multiple timelines and presents him in distinctly different looks.

The film’s promotional campaign has consistently generated strong response. Whether it was the first-look posters, the soulful songs, or the intense glimpses, every update from the makers has amplified the buzz around the project.
Peddi is also creating waves in overseas markets, with advance sales witnessing extraordinary momentum. Trade circles believe the film is on track to set new benchmarks in international territories. Overseas distribution is being handled by Prathyangira Cinemas.
Apart from Ram Charan, the film features an impressive ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in important roles.
The technical crew further adds to the film’s scale, with Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman scoring the music, acclaimed cinematographer R. Rathnavelu handling visuals, Navin Nooli overseeing editing, and Avinash Kolla leading production design.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 4, with overseas premieres scheduled for June 3.
