Thalapathy Vijay recently completed a major shooting schedule of his next film 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju on a grand scale. The film has Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair and contains a huge multistar cast that includes Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Srikanth, Shaam, Jayasudha, Khushbu, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Karthick, Prakash Raj with S.J. Suryah and Yogi Babu.

Thalapathy fans are very much eager about their much adored hero's next film 'Thalapathy 67'. Though the project is not officially announced yet it is common knowledge that Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing and Seven Screen Studios is bankrolling.

Lokesh Kanagaraj has officially revealed in his latest press interaction that he has started the writing process ten days back. He added that he cannot divulge anything more as the production house will have to make the announcement first which he believes will happen very soon. He hinted that by the time Vijay finishes shooting 'Varisu' the screenplay will also be ready for shoot.

'Thalapathy 67' has the biggest expectation among the upcoming Tamil films afer Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered the all time industry blockbuster hit 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil as the main leads. No need to add that Vijay is currently the reigning box office king and its a give that the combo will light up the screens worldwide in 2023.
