Want to Direct a Love Story with Rajinikanth: Director Sudha Kongara Opens Up!

National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara has openly expressed her long-cherished dream of directing a full-fledged love story starring Superstar Rajinikanth.

Sudha Kongara’s upcoming film ‘Parasakthi’, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, Atharvaa, and others, is produced by Dawn Pictures and set for release on January 10, 2026. The grand audio launch event is scheduled for January 3.

While promoting ‘Parasakthi’ in interviews, Sudha Kongara said: “It’s my dream to direct a complete love story. Especially with Rajini sir, something like ‘Muthal Mariyathai’. I’m a huge fan of his. I’ve even written a story for it. I need to take it out now and fully develop it again. Apart from that, I read a Telugu novel centered on love, and I have a desire to adapt that into a film too.”
