Now fans have traced his ancestory and have found that his grandfathers and great-grandfathers were legendary musical geniuses in their own right.

Sivakarthikeyan recently visited his hometown Thiruveezhimalai near Thirunallar and he has attended various events there and photos about it have been going viral on the internet for the past few days. It is learned that Subramaniam Pillai and Needamangalam Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai, two of India's foremost Nathaswara exponents, are the great-grandfathers of the 'Don' star.

Similarly Siva's grandfathers from both the sides of his parents are also musical geniuses Govindaraja Pillai and Datsinamoorthy Pillai. Fans of the family friendly star are celebrating these facts on social media in a big way.

Sivakarthikeyan's next movie 'Don' costarring Priyanka Arul Mohan is releasing on May 13th worldwide. He is currently shooting for 'SK20' directed by Anudeep which is his first Telugu/Tamil bilingual as well.
