Nikhil Siddhartha is pushing boundaries with his most ambitious project yet, Swayambhu, a grand period action epic directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Pixel Studios’ Bhuvan and Sreekar, with Tagore Madhu presenting. The film has now sparked massive buzz with the release of its first single, “Ra Ra Dheevara,” a track that roars with intensity and scale.
Composed by Ravi Basrur, the song delivers a thunderous experience, powered by pounding percussion and dramatic orchestration. Santhosh Venky lends his commanding voice, while Ramajogayya Sastry pens lyrics that celebrate valor, resilience, and warrior spirit with fierce conviction.
The track showcases Nikhil in a striking new avatar rugged, intense, and battle-ready. His physical transformation stands out, reflecting months of disciplined preparation, especially in dual-sword combat sequences. Adding to the surprise, he also brings high-energy dance moves that blend seamlessly with the song’s aggressive tone. Nabha Natesh appears in the song, enhancing its visual appeal.

Visually, Swayambhu promises a spectacular cinematic experience. Cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar crafts grand frames filled with massive sets, dust-filled battle arenas, and synchronized warrior formations. Director Bharat Krishnamachari’s vision is evident in the scale, detailing, and intensity packed into every frame. Choreographer VJ Binni blends war-inspired movements with rhythmic energy, turning the song into a powerful visual spectacle.
Production designers M Prabhaharan and Raveendra further elevate the film’s world with intricate period detailing, creating an immersive and monumental setting.
With “Ra Ra Dheevara,” Swayambhu sets a high benchmark early on. Following a teaser that already hinted at scale and ambition, this first single has significantly amplified expectations, positioning the film as one of the most awaited cinematic spectacles of the year.
