Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘I Am Game’ Wraps Shoot, Set for Grand August 2026 Release

Dulquer Salmaan has completed the shoot of his highly ambitious project I Am Game, marking a major milestone for the film. The shooting spanned nearly 11 months, covering around 156 days across more than 100 locations in South India, reflecting the massive scale of the production.

Directed by Nahas Hidayath, the big-budget action thriller is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release in August 2026. The film is being positioned as one of the most significant projects in Dulquer’s career.

Backed by Wayfarer Films, the film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan himself along with Jom Varghese. Following the success of Lokah, this project stands as another prestigious venture from the banner. The story is penned by Shabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran.

I Am Game is not only touted as Dulquer’s biggest film to date but also one of the most expensive productions in Malayalam cinema, with plans for a massive release across markets.

In the film, Dulquer appears in a stylish and mass-heavy avatar, promising a new dimension to his screen presence. Coming after Nahas Hidayath’s blockbuster RDX, this marks Dulquer’s milestone 40th film.

The ensemble cast includes Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in key roles.

Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the action choreography is handled by the renowned duo Anbariv. Previously released first-look and second-look posters have already generated strong buzz among audiences.

The film will hit theatres as a pan-India release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, aiming for a wide-reaching cinematic impact.
