Karanam Malliswari started out as a simpleton from Andhra Pradesh with dreams and potential to achieve big goals and fulfil her dreams. But she had no right guides to give her potential the correct path. Still, she fought with economical problems, made adjustments to her lifestyle and won Olympic medal in Weightlifting for India.

Her hardships did not end as soon as she got selected to National Team but they increased by ten folds. She still managed to achieve this feat. Subsequently, she couldn't repeat the same form at Olympics but won medals outside India to remain an inspiration for next generations.

Indian weightlifting is still not at the heights of shooting, hockey and boxing. Stating this she said that Indian youth should start fighting against odds to make contributions to sports that matter as it involves Indian pride.

She also said that most of the youth are going for easy lives and that worries her about the future of Sports in India. She called for youth to give their best shot to their dreams as odds will always be against it.

She gave permission to make her story into a biopic recently to Kona Corporation and People's Media Factory. Cast and other details will be announced soon.
