SJ Suryah Injured on Sets of ‘Killer’: Suffers Severe Leg Injury During Action Sequence!

Renowned director and actor SJ Suryah, currently starring in films like Love Insurance Kompany, Sardar 2, and Jailer 2, has returned to direction after a 10-year hiatus. His new directorial venture, titled Killer, features Preethi Asrani as the female lead.

Produced jointly by Angel Studios and Gokulam Movies, Killer is described as SJ Suryah’s dream project. With a car playing a pivotal role in the story, a brand-new BMW has been specially imported from Germany. The pan-Indian film is being made in five languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, with shooting underway in Chennai.

In an unfortunate incident, SJ Suryah met with an accident during an action sequence shoot in Pallavakkam, Chennai. While performing a stunt harnessed with wires, he unexpectedly suffered a severe injury when metal wires pierced his leg as he descended.

He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where doctors stitched two wounds on his leg. Advised to take complete rest for 15 days, SJ Suryah is currently recovering. As a result, the film’s shooting has been temporarily halted.

The accident has shocked the crew, even as fans pour in wishes for his speedy recovery. With SJ Suryah making a much-anticipated comeback as director, the incident has drawn widespread concern.

The next schedule of Killer is expected to resume soon after his recovery.
