Prabhas Fans Wait Outside Theatres in Hyderabad as 'The Raja Saab' Premiere Faces Delay

Fans of Prabhas gathered in large numbers outside theatres across Hyderabad late at night, eagerly waiting for the premiere show of The Raja Saab. Despite the excitement and celebrations outside cinema halls, theatre gates remained unopened, leaving fans anxious and uncertain about the status of the much-awaited paid premieres.

Several fans, who had reached theatres hours in advance, were seen chanting slogans, bursting crackers, and holding cut-outs, hoping for a last-minute clearance. However, the delay in permissions meant that theatres in Hyderabad were unable to commence the scheduled premiere shows, resulting in prolonged waiting and visible disappointment among fans.

The uncertainty stems from the Telangana government’s delayed approval process for paid premieres and ticket price hikes. Although permission was eventually granted late in the evening, the clearance came too close to showtime, making it logistically impossible for theatres to proceed with the planned premieres in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, fans are closely tracking updates from other regions. Premiere shows in Andhra Pradesh are going ahead as scheduled, while the USA premieres are set to begin shortly, adding to the mixed emotions among Prabhas fans in Telangana.

Directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, The Raja Saab is the first major release of the Sankranthi 2026 season. The situation in Hyderabad has turned the spotlight on pre-release coordination, as fans continue to wait outside theatres, hoping for clarity and the chance to celebrate their star on the big screen.
