Sobhita Dhulipala headlines the upcoming Telugu Prime Original crime suspense movie Cheekatilo, which is set to premiere worldwide on January 23 exclusively on Prime Video. Set in the heart of Hyderabad, the film promises a gripping, edge-of-the-seat narrative rooted in realism and emotional intensity.

Directed by Sharan Kopishetty and produced by D. Suresh Babu under the banner of Suresh Productions Pvt. Ltd., Cheekatilo follows Sandhya, a true-crime podcaster whose relentless pursuit of truth after her intern’s mysterious death uncovers some of the city’s darkest and most disturbing secrets. The film is written by Chandra Pemmaraju and Sharan Kopishetty.

The movie also stars Viswadev Rachakonda in a pivotal role, supported by a strong ensemble including Jhansi and Aamani, along with Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, and Vadlamani Srinivas.

Blending cultural authenticity with a contemporary storytelling device like true-crime podcasts, Cheekatilo explores themes of resilience, truth, and sisterhood. The Telugu Original film will stream across India and in over 240 countries and territories, with subtitles in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it accessible to a wide global audience.

Cheekatilo marks another collaboration between Prime Video and Suresh Productions and is poised to be a compelling addition to Prime Video’s expanding slate of Telugu Originals when it premieres on January 23.
