Today is the birthday of National Award winning Editor Praveen KL.

Praveen made his entry into Kollywood as Editor along with NB Srikanth with director Venkat Prabhu's debut film 'Chennai 600028' The Praveen-Srikanth duo went on to become most sought after Editors of Tamil cinema since their debut. The duo have worked in many prominent films and they won the National Award for Best Editing for the 2011 cult classic film 'Aaranya Kaandam' and the Tamil Nadu State award for their work in Venkat Prabhu's 'Saroja'.

Within a few years the duo had a split and they started working separately. Now Praveen is one of the busiest Editors in Kollywood and he has completed 50 films within a decade. Last year Praveen edited Superstar Rajinikanth's mega blockbuster 'Kabali'. This year he worked for Thalapathy Vijay's 60th film 'Bairavaa'. He is also part of many small budget films that were talked about for great content. The list includes the little gem 'Oru Kidaayin Karunai Manu'.

Praveen has many promising promising projects lined up for release this year.
