Sukumar Hints at Never-Seen-Before Ram Charan Performance in ‘Peddi’

The much-anticipated pan-India film Peddi, headlined by global star Ram Charan, is gearing up for a massive theatrical release on June 4, 2026. Touted as one of the biggest cinematic events of the year, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with a powerful supporting cast including Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyendu Sharma.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and backed by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, the film is being presented in association with Mythri Movie Makers. Adding to its scale and appeal, Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman is composing the music.

The first single, “Chikiri Chikiri”, struck a chord with listeners and garnered over 200 million views across platforms, showcasing Rahman’s signature style. Following that, the energetic track “Rai Rai Raa Raa” further boosted momentum, crossing 47 million views on YouTube.

Cinematographer R. Rathnavelu has also hinted that the film will present a visually distinctive yet commercially appealing experience, raising expectations about its technical brilliance.
