MEMU COP’ULAM is shaping up to be a refreshing rural entertainer that blends humour, mystery, and satire against a lively village backdrop. With a concept rooted in everyday life, local politics, and unexpected chaos, the series promises a wholesome and engaging experience filled with laughter and relatable moments.
The makers introduced the title through a creatively designed announcement video featuring Getup Srinu and Jaffar. The video quickly went viral, grabbing attention across digital platforms and setting the tone for the show’s quirky narrative.
Produced by B. V. S. Ravi and Kaumudi K. Nemani under RAW Entertainments, in association with Pradeep Maddali Creative, the series is directed by Pradeep Maddali, known for Vikkatakavi. The story is written by Shoban Chittuprolu.
Set in the Godavari districts during the festive season of Sankranti, the narrative follows two rookie police officers who take on their first major case. Despite their confidence, their lack of experience leads to a chain of hilarious misjudgments chasing the wrong clues, suspecting everyone, and turning a small issue into a chaotic village-wide adventure.

The series features Naga Babu Konidela in a prominent role, alongside Getup Srinu and Ravi Teja Nannimala, who bring strong screen presence and sharp comic timing to the story.
Speaking about the project, Naga Babu Konidela shared that the series immediately connected with him due to its authentic setting and grounded characters. He also expressed his excitement about being part of a story that balances humour with meaningful local storytelling.
The series will stream soon on ZEE5, adding another interesting title to the platform’s growing lineup of Telugu originals.
