Rithika Tamil Selvi is a famous television personality, well-known for appearing on the comedy-cooking show 'Cooku With Comali' in the Tamil media world. She first appeared in the Vijay TV serial as an actress 'Raja Rani' and landed a major role in the super hit soap opera 'Baakiyalakshmi'.

Now, Rithika has announced on her Instagram handle that she is all set to step into the Tamil cinema as a lead actress. Rithika is debuting as a heroine in comedian turned lead actor Sathish's next film. The title and first look of the upcoming movie will be launched by actor Simbu.

Director Chachi of 'Sixer' fame is helming the venture produced by Shanmugam Creations, Seeds Entertainment and Krish Production House. The film also stars Vidya Pradeep, Pavel Navageethan and Ajay Raaj with cinematography by PG Muthaiah and music by Jones Rupert.

Sharing the happy news, Rithika penned, "Happy to announce that i am a part of this movie.. And it’s first look is gonna be released by little superstar @silambarasantrofficial ?? Thanks to the director @chachi_dir for believing in me ???? and to the whole team." (sic)
