Not many know that Amala Paul, who made people sit up and take notice with her performance in ?Mynaa?, entered the Tamil film industry last year with a movie titled ?Veerasekaran?.

?Yes, it was her debut flick. But she hogged attention with a controversial role in ?Sindhu Samaveli?. And the recent release ?Mynaa? has made her a hot property in Kollywood,? sources close to her say.

Now, the actress is part of big projects, including a film opposite Vikram and ?Vettai?, the Arya-Madhavan starrer, directed by Lingusamy.
