The sequel to the cult-favorite Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is officially underway, with ENE Repeat currently in production and already generating strong buzz among fans. The original film, known for its raw honesty and humorous take on friendship and ambition, resonated deeply with younger audiences and grew into a cult classic over time—something clearly reflected during its highly successful re-release.
Building on that legacy, ENE Repeat brings back the beloved core cast, including Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu, who reunite to recreate the magic of the original. Joining them this time is Srinath Maganti, adding a fresh dynamic to the group. Steering the project once again is director Tharun Bhascker, ensuring the same quirky and relatable storytelling style that defined the first film.
The film’s shoot is currently taking place in Thailand and is scheduled to continue for a month. A recently shared on-set picture perfectly captures the film’s vibe—featuring the “Team Kanyaraasi” gang in a breezy, laid-back moment, relaxing in a vintage blue convertible. The image blends a retro aesthetic with the spirit of a modern-day bro trip, hinting at the film’s tone.

The film is backed by S Originals and Rootnode Cinema, with producers Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagireddy.
