Popular Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor has also become a household name in Kollywood after bankrolling Ajith Kumar's 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and the upcoming 'Valimai' directed by H Vinod Kumar which is releasing on Pongal 2022. He is also gearing up to producer Ajith Kumar's 61st film also directed by H. Vinod making it the third collaboration of the trio back to back.

It is a well known fact that Boney Kapoor was married to the late legendary actress Sridevi from 1996 till her untimely death in 2018 at the age of 54. The couple have two daughters actress Janhvi Kapoor and Khush Kapoor. He has shared a photo on Instagram that was shot at the famous Natraj Studios in Mumbai in 1984 and has mentioned it was his first pose with his wife Sridevi.

Boney Kapoor apart from several Bollywood and Telugu films is also bankrolling the Tamil film 'Nenjukku Neethi' directed by Arunraja Kamaraj which is the remake of 'Article 15'. The film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tanya Ravichandran, Shivani Rajasekhar and Aari Arjunan.
