Despite the demand being huge, the authorities are issuing only 300 tokens per day. This is expected to cause a lot of inconvenience to people. A resident of Chennai has bee quoted as saying by ANI that his entire family has been hospitalized due to covid-19. For people to face shortages in such conditions is too agonizing.
Buyers outside the stadium were seen observing covid norms in the breach. There was no social distancing. Crowded sites are prone to cause the spread of the coronavirus.
