Sanam Shetty lashes out at Kamal Hassan’s MNM party members!

Bigg Boss fame Sanam Shetty put up a couple of tweets slamming the officials of the party “Makkal Needhi Maiam” who have just abruptly left the party, citing personal reasons after their poor performance in the recently concluded Tamil Nadu Assembly Election. The party could not reach the level of expectation and managed to get only 2.52% of vote share in the election, which was single-handedly won my DMK. 

After party members like Maurya IPS, Umadevi, Thangavel, Muruganandam, C K Kumaravel, Sekhar, Dr. Santhosh Babu IAS, Suresh Iyer, Padma Priya and apart from these party members, the vice president of the party Dr. Mahendran too resigned and it would’ve definitely come as a shock to Kamal as well as the people who supported the party. He claims that due to the presence of “Sankhya Solutions” Party leader Kamal Haasan is being misguided. Mixed reactions have also come from the people supporting the veteran actor and trolling him based on the continuous resignations of his party members are surfacing in the Internet.

Upon this, Sanam came up with a series of tweets criticizing the party members and their approach towards the party. She tweeted, “What is the ‘personal reason’ Mr. Santhosh Babu, Mrs. Padma Priya, Mr Mahendran & others? You campaigned to lakhs of people abt reasons to be in party. Now public wants to know why u quit Kamal Haasan sir u don’t need power to serve. Your vision is enough.”She also added, “Where is ur loyalty?? My question to u all: would u still quit if u had won? Resigned MNM party members have not only betrayed Makkal Needhi Maiam party and leader Kamal Haasan sir but mainly the people who voted for many 1st timers! quitters #realfaces” in another tweet.

Many of the twitterati seconded with Sanam’s opinion and one of her followers replied to her initial tweet and asked her, why doesn’t she join hands with Kamal Haasan and join the party? To which Sanam replied instantly, “I support ideas which aim at public welfare. Doesn’t matter which party or which candidate it comes from. Like I said u can do a lot to serve people even without being in politics.” Kamal on the other hand, released a counter note to Mahendran’s press note saying that there js no place for people who lack talent and honesty in Makkal Needhi Maiam!
