Actor Vijay Sethupathi recently praised comedian and actor Yogi Babu, calling him a “wonderful human being.” This remark was made during the press meet of the film “Ace,” written, directed, and produced by Arumugakumar. The event, held in Chennai, was attended by the film’s cast and crew including Rukmini Vasanth, music director Justin Prabhakaran, and Babloo Prithviraj.

Speaking at the event, Vijay Sethupathi shared his experience working with each actor, specifically praising Yogi Babu for his talent and unique thinking. He said, “Yogi Babu is like another hero of this film. He always surprises me. Despite working on numerous films, he constantly brings fresh and creative ideas. I often wonder how his brain works this way.”

Vijay also shared a fun moment where Yogi Babu would unexpectedly add dialogues during dubbing. “Sometimes, I asked the team to replay scenes for him after I completed my dubbing, just to see what he might come up with,” he added. He recalled how he often laughed uncontrollably and couldn’t act alongside Yogi due to his comic timing.

Vijay commended Yogi Babu not only for his acting but also for his passion for directing, stating, “He always shares story ideas. I tell him — don’t overthink, just go ahead and direct. He never wastes time sitting idle.” Reacting to recent rumors about Yogi Babu, Vijay defended him, saying, “I’ve worked with him closely. He is truly a golden-hearted person and one of the film’s key pillars.”
