We already broke the news that Vijay Sethupathi is starring in a new web series directed by Raj & DK, who previously made Samantha starrer acclaimed web series 'The Family Man'. An official announcement has been made in this regard yesterday.

Vijay Sethuapthi is sharing screen space with the phenomenal Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor for the first time in this show titled "Farzi." This series, written by Raj and DK, Suman Kumar and Sita R Menon, also stars Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar and Kubbra Sait.

Farzi revolves around a counterfeiting gang headed by Shahid Kapoor and a cop who's on a mission to hunt him down, played by Vijay Sethupathi. The web show is set to premiere soon on Amazon Prime. On the other hand, Vijay Sethupathi is also shooting for the Hindi film 'Merry Christmas' alongside Katrina Kaif.
