Vijay Sethupathi and Kangana Ranaut who are considered to be two of the most versatile performers in pan Indian cinema are reportedly uniting for an interesting project. According to the buzz the busy stars have been roped in by none other than director Vipin Das of 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey' fame.
Vipin Das made heads turn with his satire on gender stereotypes with Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph playing a modern couple. The film won rave reviews from critics and audiences and collected rupees forty five crores against the budget of five crores. Expectations for Vipin's next project is sky high and by the look of it its going to take him to the next level.
Already Bollywood's Ahimsa Entertainment and Kollywood's Trident Arts teased of a pan Indian crime thriller project bringing together a north and a south star. It is now said that its going to be the Vijay Sethupathi-Kangana-Vipin project which will be announced officially very soon.
Kangana Ranaut has completed shooting for her new Tamil film 'Chandramukhi 2' directed by P. Vasu and costarring Raghava Lawrence. The film is slated for release on Diwali this year. Vijay Sethupathi on the other hand has his hands full with upcoming Tamil films such as 'Viduthalai 2', 'Maharaja' and 'VJS 51' and Hindi films 'Jawan', 'Merry Christmas' and 'Gandhi Talks'.
