Vijay Deverakonda and Yami Gautam Meet with PM Modi

Popular Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda, Bollywood stars Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh, Jim Sarbh, and badminton legend Pullela Gopichand recently met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting took place during the ‘What India Thinks Today’ conclave held on March 28.

During the interaction, Vijay Deverakonda spoke about his experiences in the film industry and his upcoming movie, “Kingdom.” He shared that he chose Ranbir Kapoor to give the voice-over for the Hindi teaser of the film. The teaser was showcased at the event and received an enthusiastic response.

Yami Gautam spoke about the powerful influence of Indian cinema on a global scale. She discussed the role of storytelling in addressing complex themes, including politics. She also talked about her film, “Article 370,” and shared her experience of playing intense and layered characters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech focusing on India’s journey from dependency to self-reliance over the last decade. He expressed confidence that with combined national effort, India can reach the goal of becoming a developed country by 2047.
