The news of the passing of Tamil character actor Rajesh has shocked the film industry, and it is reported that many are paying their respects to him.
Born in 1949 in Mannargudi, Tanjore district, Rajesh made his debut in the film industry with the movie Aval Oru Thodarkathai, directed by K. Balachander and starring Sujatha and Kamal Haasan.
It is notable that he made his debut as a lead actor in the 1979 film Kanni Paruvathile, in which Bhagyaraj played the role of the villain.
Following that, he acted in several films, including Achamillai Achamillai, also directed by K. Balachander. He also worked as a dubbing artist. In addition, he was a writer and had authored nine books.
Most recently, he acted in a character role in the film Merry Christmas starring Vijay Sethupathi.
In this situation, he suddenly passed away today at the age of 75. He had been unwell for the past few days and reportedly suffered sudden breathlessness, after which he passed away.
