The one word that trends on social media almost on a day-to-day basis for the past couple of years is without any doubt 'Valimai' the upcoming magnum opus of Thala Ajith. Fans are hungry for updates about the project which was also affected by the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns. They went to the extent of asking updates for the film to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu during the election campaign and the Prime Minister during his recent visit apart from showing placards at the India vs England test match in Chepauk

Ajith released a statement asking his fans to exercise patience and that he and the producers will decide when to give the 'Valimai' updates at the appropriate times. He also pointed out that while the film is entertainment to them its his livelihood and he has to keep in mind the society also before making any decisions.

Now for the benefit of fans a new amazing update has come from an unexpected quarter and it is none other than music director Thaman who is incidentally not connected with the film. He has shared on Twitter that his contemporary music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has come up with a mindblowing song that will be worth the wait for the Thala fans. Now this sure should have the Thala fans going gaga.

The 'Valimai' team meanwhile is gearing up to shoot the next schedule in foreign locations after which the entire film will be wrapped up. The principal starcast of this H. Vinod directorial and Boney Kapoor production comprises of Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Pugazh and Karthikeya.
