Director Vetrimaaran has stated that he cannot take responsibility for the expectations surrounding the film Vaadivaasal. The movie, which stars Suriya and is being produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, has been in development for several years. Both Vetrimaaran and Suriya have assured fans that the project will begin this year, and initial production work is currently underway.
At a recent event, Vetrimaaran was asked about the high expectations for Vaadivaasal. He responded, “I am not responsible for those expectations. If the film lives up to the fans’ hopes, I’ll be glad. But I cannot take responsibility for that. I give my 100% effort to every film I do.”
Meanwhile, actor Suriya has just completed work on a project with RJ Balaji and is set to begin a film with director Venky Atluri. Only afterward will he allocate dates to begin filming Vaadivaasal.
