Last week the central government had announced the ban of 59 Chinese apps which were said to be acquiring information from users and misusing them and this included popular video sharing app Tik tok as well, besides apps like Helo.
The ban of the app had resulted in huge trouble for many youngsters who were using it to explore and display their talents like singing, dancing and acting, and pushed them into depression. A 16 year old Tik tok celebrity named Siya Thakkar committed suicide as well.
While it was said that Siya Thakkar committed suicide due to Tik tok ban, now another extremely popular Tik tok celebrity named Sandhya Chauhan has committed suicide in Delhi. Sandhya was a student of Delhi University, and was active on TikTok and reportedly she was upset due to the ban on the tik tok which made her commit suicide. Cops have seized her phone and are investigating the death.
