It was on this day (April 28) in 2017 that 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' hit the screens, unravelling the suspense over why Kattappa had vanquished Baahubali. Prabhas on Tuesday posted a heart-felt note on the occasion, describing the Indian behemoth as a film that the whole nation embraced.
"It was not just a film that the nation loved, but also the biggest film of my life. And, I am grateful to my fans, team and director SS Rajamouli, who made it one of the most memorable projects. 'Baahubali-2' completes three years and I am delighted for all the love the film and I have received," the 'Saaho' actor said.
Producer Shobu Yarlgadda shared a working still of Rajamouli, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati and quipped, "Boss at work! But who is the boss in this picture?! The best five years of my life."
"April 28th... A monumental day for Indian Cinema. HISTORY WRITTEN. Box-Office records smashed. An Indian film hits 1000 crore mark in no time. And WHAT NOT. Jai Maahishmathi," wrote the makers of the film, celebrating their creation. "A film that transcended boundaries. A film that was our life and dream. A film that will stay forever in the hearts of crores of Indian Cinema lovers!" they added.
