The shooting of 'Thangalan', that unites two super exciting talents Pa. Ranjith and Chiyaan Vikram, was going on at brisk pace and recently a schedule was completed. It is reported that the next phase of the film's shooting is about to start soon in the Kolar Gold Fields where the story is actually set.

Meanwhile GV Prakash Kumar the music composer of the much anticipated film has given a red hot official update on Twitter. Brimming with excitement he wrote "Super excited about the way #thangalaan audio is coming . Finished Recording two songs.Come out with an international tribal mix of audio which is unique for me I haven’t tried it before."

'Thangalaan' stars Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan and Pasupathi in the lead roles. The film is bankrolled by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavelraja while Ranjith's Neelam Productions is producing on first copy basis.
