We all know that Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Varisu' is gearing up for a grand release on Pongal 2023. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the filming was completed last month and the post-production works are on track. The upcoming family entertainer is directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

Now, the latest reports suggest that the 'Varisu' team has planned a grand audio launch ceremony on December 24th at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. It is worth mentioning that the fans are eagerly waiting for this audio launch as Vijay's last film 'Beast' didn't have a grand event. The makers have also planned vast promotions in Hyderabad and Dubai.

Rashmika Mandanna is roped in to play Vijay's romantic interest in 'Varisu' while the film also stars Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Ganesh Venkatraman, Khushbhu, Jaysudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha and others. Popular director and actor SJ Suryah is said to essay a cameo appearance.

Thaman is composing the musical score for 'Varisu' with cinematography by Karthick Palani and editing by Praveen KL. Lyricist Vivek is taking care of the Tamil dialogues and additional screenplay. Raju Sundaram, Shobi and Jani masters have choreographed the songs in the film with stunt choreography by Ram-Laxman, Peter Hein and Dhilip Subbarayan.
