Thalapathy Vijay’s current movie ‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi as the villain is expected to release next month once the coronavirus is contained and normal life returns. Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ and ‘Soorarai Pottru’ was in talks to helm Vijay’s next ‘Thalapathy 65’ but due to long pre-production involved the project has been pushed to a future date.
We have already brought you the news that A.R. Murugadoss is the front runner to direct ‘Thalapathy 65’ and produced on a grand scale by Sun Pictures. Now news is coming in that the project has been firmed up and will most probably be the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Thuppakki’.
‘Thuppakki’ the first collaboration between Vijay and ARM had the mass hero playing the role of an army officer Jagadish Danapal taking on an international ring of terrorists employing sleeper cells in the country. It is said that ‘Thuppakki 2’ would see Vijay return as Jagadish for a brand new adventure.
