Thala Ajith starrer 'Valimai' is the most expected film in Tamil cinema now. It might also be the most anticipated in the superstar's career. Fans were longing for an update for months and the makers dropped the glimpse teaser last month.

Now, the director H. Vinoth has opened up about the exclusive details of Valimai in a recent interview. We had earlier updated you that Ajith won't have a romantic track in Valimai. Vinoth also shared the intriguing incidents that happened during the shoot of the action sequences in the movie.

Thala Ajith was heavily injured despite wearing protective gear and a helmet while shooting for a bike chase sequence in Hyderabad. Though he was badly injured, his worry was about the 18 lakh bike. The actor also discussed with Vinoth about the difficulties in getting a new bike for the next day's shoot.

But later, Ajith personally called someone and brought a new bike (same model, same color) and the shoot continued. Ajith insisted to shoot the scene on his own although the makers were ready to go on with a body double. Though his face wouldn't be visible, the actor told him that he would wear protective gear and a helmet during the bike chase.

When Vinoth asked Ajith to continuously horn in one scene, the star said that continuous loud horn would affect kids and senior citizens. According to Thala, "A pro driver wouldn't use horn much." 'Valimai' is produced by Boney Kapoor. Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu and Karthikeya are the main cast members. The film is slated for release in Pongal 2022.
