Actor Suriya's ambitious sci-fi flick '24' is one of the few super hits among the Tamil films that have released in the first half of 2016. Now we learn that the Vikram Kumar directed film which had Suirya in triple rules including that of a menacing villain has made phenomenal business in Telugu speaking states where it was released in a massive number of screens owing to the popularity of Suriya and the other members of the cast and crew among Telugu audience.
'24' from its Telugu versions has collected a whopping Rs.17 crores from the theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. The satellite rights of the Telugu version has also been sold for a huge price.
The film stars Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menen in lead roles. A.R.Rahman had composed super hit tunes and brilliant re-recording added with the interesting time travel concept, Tirru's camera work and the jaw dropping special effects have contributed for the success of the film in both Tamil and Telugu languages.
'24' is a production venture of Suriya under his 2D Entertainments banner and it was distributed by K.E.Gnanavelraja of Studio Green banner.
