The month of July has been declared the Suriya Birthday month by the Anbana fans and mass celebrations are taking place on social media and is the trending topic on the net. Now comes the hot news that the hard working star is all set to make his OTT debut soon.

The web series that Suriya has signed on is produced by Mani Ratnam and has been titled 'Navarasa'. In tune with the title, the series will have nine episodes and will also have different directors including Mani Ratnam himself and actors Siddharth and Arvind Swamy making their directorial debut.

The episode that Suriya is going to act in 'Navarasa' will be directed by Jayendra Panchapakesan who made the critically acclaimed and visually stunning '180' in 2011 that had Siddharth, Priya Anand and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. Shooting is set to be held as soon as the lockdown ends.

Suriya's upcoming movie is 'Soorarai Pottru' the most anticipated film in Tamil cinema following which he is expected to shoot 'Aruvaa' directed by Hari and 'Vaadi Vaasal' directed by Vetrimaaran.
