Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe' is the talk of the town ever since the makers dropped the first look and motion poster. The character played by Thalaivar is much anticipated as it is the role of a village head. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Siruthai Siva is directing this film.

Thalaivar's fanatics have been craving for the first single track from the album for a long time. D Imman is taking care of the musical score in Annaatthe. The National award-winning composer had recorded the opening song with the late singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. This will be the last song of the legendary singer with lyrics by Viveka.

Earlier, we reported to you that the song will be released soon after the first memorial day of SPB. Now, the makers have taken to Twitter to announce that the first single will be released at 6 PM on 4th October as we reported earlier. D Imman revealed in an interview that it will be a celebration song and is also the opening song of 'Annaatthe'.

The stellar cast of Annaatthe comprises Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khusbhu, Meena, Soori, Prakash Raj and Jagapathy Babu. Rajinikanth is playing the role of a big brother as the title suggests. The wholesome family entertainer is releasing as a grand Diwali treat this year on November 4th.
