ISRO has on Monday successfully launched the electronic intelligence satellite EMISAT. This achievement comes in company with the launch of 28 nano satellites for other countries. Of these, 24 customer satellites are of the US.
“India is looking at bringing into existence a new surveillance satellite with a special mission of the PSLV C-45. This project will have many firsts,” a report says.
“About 1200 people watched and enjoyed today’s PSLVC45 launch from the new viewers’ gallery at Sriharikota. Next time we will have 5000 people watching the launch,” said Dr K Sivan, Chairman of ISRO.
