Extending warm wishes to the newly married couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the team of Ranabaali has unveiled a visually rich wedding song from the film. The real-life wedding of the star pair, celebrated in a grand ceremony, has already become a major talking point — and now, the film capitalizes on that celebratory mood with a culturally immersive track.
In this big-budget Pan-India spectacle, Vijay essays the titular role of Ranabaali, while Rashmika portrays Jayamma. The newly released song forms a key part of their on-screen wedding sequence and stands out for its meticulous recreation of 19th-century traditions.
The visuals beautifully capture age-old wedding customs — from turmeric grinding rituals and intricate henna preparations to the bullock cart procession of the bride and groom. The sequence also showcases the auspicious entry of the bride into her marital home, presented with authentic detailing and period aesthetics.
Lyrically, the song carries a poetic and soulful tone, evoking a festive atmosphere rooted in tradition. The composition by the celebrated duo Ajay–Atul enhances the emotional depth of the sequence, blending orchestral grandeur with cultural richness.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is being mounted on a lavish scale by Mythri Movie Makers, with producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar at the helm. The film is presented by T-Series Films under the leadership of Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar.
Set between 1854 and 1878 during British rule, the narrative unfolds against a 19th-century backdrop and is inspired by real historical events. The recently released title glimpse garnered a strong response, amplifying expectations for the film.
The ensemble cast includes international actor Arnold Vosloo alongside a robust technical crew. Cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah, with writing by Pramod Thammineni. The film’s expansive world is crafted by production designer Shivam Rao Nagasani, edited by Karthika Srinivas R, with choreography by Kruti Mahesh and costumes designed by Archana Rao.
Slated for a grand worldwide release on September 11, Ranabaali is shaping up as a large-scale historical epic, blending romance, tradition, and action on a Pan-India canvas.
