Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his gritty and uncompromising storytelling, is currently shaping his next ambitious venture, Srinivasa Mangapuram. The film marks the debut of Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, grandson of legendary actor Krishna and nephew of superstar Mahesh Babu.
Sharing screen space with him is Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood star Raveena Tandon, who makes her Telugu debut after grabbing national attention with the viral “Uyi Amma” track. Presented by industry veteran Ashwini Dutt and produced by P Kiran, the film has already created a strong buzz with its striking first-look posters of the lead pair.
The makers have now introduced another pivotal character, unveiling Mohan Babu in a ferocious avatar as Venkatappayya Naidu. The poster presents him as a man of unchallenged authority, striding forward with steely resolve.
Sporting salt-and-pepper hair and a thick moustache, Mohan Babu radiates a fierce, imposing presence. Dressed in a simple white kurta and dhoti, he embodies the aura of a powerful rural patriarch. His cold, unwavering expression hints at suppressed intensity, while gold chains, a wristwatch, and a bracelet lend a touch of vintage mass appeal.
Behind him stands a battalion of rugged followers, some armed with country rifles, reinforcing the idea that Venkatappayya Naidu is a leader who commands both respect and fear. The poster captures a majestic and authoritative persona — a man who rules his land with iron determination. Mohan Babu has already joined the sets, and the film’s shoot is progressing at a brisk pace.
Srinivasa Mangapuram is supported by a highly accomplished technical team that strengthens its cinematic scale. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while cinematographer Jayakrishna ISC shapes its visual tone with a grounded yet powerful aesthetic. Editing responsibilities are handled by Madhav Kumar Gullapati, ensuring narrative sharpness and pacing. The production design by Sahi Suresh is expected to authentically build the film’s rural world, and high-intensity action sequences are being choreographed by Real Sathish.
With Ajay Bhupathi’s commanding vision, fresh faces leading the narrative, and Mohan Babu portraying a character with negative shades, the film promises an intense rural drama mounted on a grand canvas. All indicators suggest that Srinivasa Mangapuram is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing projects in the pipeline.
