The first look of actor Simha's commercial family entertainer movie “Thadai Udai” has been released. The film is directed by debutante Rakesh N.S, who worked as an assistant director with 'Soodhu Kavvum' director Nalan Kumaraswamy, 'Engeyum Eppodhum' Saravanan and 'Kattappavai Kanom' helmer Mani Seiyon.

'Thadai Udai' is shaping up to be a commercial family entertainer that will be enjoyed by everyone, from kids to adults. The film's screenplay is set as the story takes place in two places, the city and the village. The shooting of the film has been completed in the rural areas of Chennai and Sivagangai.

Kavipperarasu Vairamuthu has penned the songs Thadai Udai' that has music composer Sri handling the songs and recent National Award winning music composer Srikanth Deva taking care of background score. Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu is writing the lyrics for all the songs.

Simha and Misha Rang are the lead pair while Rohini, Senthil, Prabhu, Santhana Bharathi, Sel Murugan, Sarath Ravi, Thangadurai, Deepak Ramesh, Manikanda Prabhu and Subramaniam Siva have acted along with them. Choreographer Baba Bhaskar is playing a full-length character for the first time in the film.

Simha's wife Reshmi Menon has produced 'Thadai Udai' on a large scale under the banner Mudra Film Factory. The post-production work of the film is going on in full swing now that the shooting has been completed. Trailer, music release announcements of the film will be official soon
