Simbu and Trisha first starred together in 'Alai' directed by Vikram Kumar released in the year 2013. However it was seven years later in 2010 they made history reuniting for the evergreen romance classic 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Their chemistry was so spot on that fans began addressing them as Karthik and Jessie and still do twelve years later.

In 2020 when the pandemic was at its peak, GVM once again brought back nostalgic memories of the duo by bringing them back in the short film 'Karthik Dial Seitha Yenn'. Following that rumours started spreading like wildfire that Simbu and Trisha are planning to tie the knot.

Now two years later a fan on social media has posted a meme in which he has shared the statements of both Trisha and Simbu regarding marriage that sound very similar. The fan has suggested that they should consider marrying as their views about it are exactly the same.

Both Simbu and Trisha in separate recent press interactions have stated that they are waiting for the right person to take the plunge. They have added that they dont want to hurry into a relationship and later divorce if issues arise. Well fans can have their dreams but what the celebs themselves dream of is what matters.

Simbu is currently shooting for 'Pathu Thala' costarring Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Trisha after the tremendous response for her Kundavai in the all time blockbuster hit 'Ponniyin Selvan' is in Dubai shooting for Mohan Lal's 'Ram' directed by Jeethu Joseph.
