Shiva Kandukuri, son of producer Raj Kandukuri, is on a signing spree, literally! Even before his maiden film Choosi Choodangaane with debutante Sesha Sindhu Rao opens in cinemas, the suave actor has begun Manu Charithra with Bharat and another film with debutante Sujana. Now, we’ve learnt that he has agreed to feature in another newcomer Vaidehi Chandrasekhar’s project. She has cut her teeth in filmmaking by assisting Ram Gopal Varma besides hosting shows for a popular general entertainment channel.
The film is a romantic emotional drama and the story was first narrated to senior Kandukuri, who pronto evinced interest in it. Shiva’s reaction was akin to that of his dad. The film will move to floors in October, with a major part of the shooting taking place in the US. It would be shot in India for 10 days, we’ve learnt. Vasireddy Ravindranath who produced Jagapathi Babu and Nara Rohith-starrer box-office turkey Aatagallu last year will pool in the resources for the project.
