NTR and director Koratala Siva are currently in Japan, actively promoting Devara: Part 1. During a media interaction, Siva made an interesting statement that caught everyone’s attention. He expressed that if the iconic Telugu classic Sagara Sangamam were ever to be remade, NTR would be the only choice for the lead role.
Siva praised legendary filmmaker K. Viswanath, who is known for portraying Indian culture through his films, mentioning that Sagara Sangamam is one of his most cherished works. According to Siva, among the current generation of actors, only NTR has the skill set to do justice to a film like Sagara Sangamam.
NTR’s dancing prowess is widely acknowledged, and his ability to blend classical and modern dance forms is unmatched in the Telugu film industry. While the idea of a Sagara Sangamam remake with NTR excites many fans, some feel that the magic of the original, immortalized by Kamal Haasan’s performance, is hard to replicate.
Meanwhile, the Devara promotions continue to create a buzz, and fans are eagerly looking forward to both parts of the film. The second part will begin later this year.
