When the teaser of ‘Saakini Daakini’ was released, we were told that the film is an ode to women. This remake of a Korean drama titled ‘Midnight Runners’ promises more through its trailer.
If its situational comedy is not over-the-top, its action blocks could well be entertaining. The Shotgun (Regina) and the Demon (Nivetha) go all out when a night changes their lives. They implement their police academy lessons in taking on the human trafficking mafia that is kidnapping girls in the town.
